Screen/Storm Doors
Today, storm doors are not the rattling aluminum frames of the past.
The following are newer types of storm doors now available:
- Solid-wood core with bonded aluminum finish- they feel sturdy, won't dent and are nearly maintenance free.
- Composite- molded through color to minimize the appearance of scratches, impervious to water.
- Foam filled aluminum- light weight with the option to insert a full-frame glass panel.
- Vinyl clad- less expensive, won't rust, hides scratches, less durable.
